Some home remedies that can be used are – Juice of Bitter melon/Karela (30 ml) may be taken on empty stomach daily in the early morning. In addition, one can Grind seeds of Methi (100 gm) and turmeric (25gm) are taken along with a glass of milk twice a day. The chewing of Jamun leaves prevents the conversion of starch into sugar. The juice of Amla twice a day is good for diabetic patient and Amla fruit may be taken twice a day.
