7 Home Remedies For Solving Your Gout Problem

Garlic

Garlic is a remarkable remedy for gout. It helps in removing the excess uric acid from the body. Mince garlic with the help of a machine and then consume it. It helps in curing gout of its roots.

Carom Seeds (Ajwain) and Ginger

Both carom seeds and ginger work cohesively in producing sweat in your body that helps in removing the uric acid from the body. Ginger is loaded with anti-inflammatory properties, that relieve pain and swelling. Half teaspoon ajwain should be boiled in a cup of water with an inch slice of ginger. The solution should be strained, and half of it should be consumed at the beginning of the day while another half in the evening.

Castor Oil

Warm castor oil in limited quantity should be massaged on gout affected area. You can swab it with a cotton ball since it breaks down the toxic deposit and also relieves you from instant pain.

Coriander

Coriander improves the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract with its antioxidant properties, thus reducing the uric acid level. Drinking adequate water stabilises uric acid levels in the body. You can take a few sprigs of coriander and mix it in a glass of water and consume. It can be added to your food as garnish and have it.

Turmeric

Turmeric is a herb that belongs to the ginger family. It is loaded with lots of potential medicinal value. It is believed to suppress chronic inflammation, which reduces the activity of Xanthine oxidase- the enzyme that produces uric acid.

Cherries

Patients with gout can be treated easily if they consume cherries on a daily basis. Studies showed that a lower risk of gout attacks is applicable for those who consume cherries on a regular basis. People facing gout problems should be encouraged to include cherries in their diet. Consuming at least one half-cup or 10 cherries in a single day lowers the risk of gout attack.
